Shredule is an Android app that helps you lose weight in short sprints. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is kept and how you can delete it. If you have any questions, email hello@getshredule.com.
To work, Shredule saves the following in its own private storage on your phone:
If you allow it, Shredule reads your step count from Health Connect (which includes apps such as Samsung Health, Google Fit and Fitbit) and from your phone's own step counter. Shredule only reads steps. It does not read any other health data and it never writes to Health Connect. Step counts are used only to show your progress in the app. Shredule's use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you log what you ate, Shredule checks each food against your diet using a food list built into the app. The check happens entirely on your phone. Nothing you eat is sent anywhere.
While a fast or eating window is running, Shredule shows a timer in your notifications. It is created on your phone and you can switch it off in Settings.
If you turn reminders on, the app schedules them on your phone. No reminder content is sent anywhere.
If Android backup is switched on for your phone, your Shredule data may be included in your own Google backup, so it can be restored on a new phone. You control this in your phone's settings.
You can delete everything at any time in the app under Settings, then Backup and data, then Erase all data. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data from your phone. Because we do not store your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Shredule is meant for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
If we change how the app handles your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
